In a collaboration with Berwick Literary Festival, Create Berwick and students at Berwick Academy, this book presents a collection of wonderful stories and writings from pupils about the nature of difficult conversations – all inspired by a piece of Berwick history and a king full of ambition.

Inside you’ll find a history of the plaque that inspire the project and the best contributions on difficult conversations from the students, plus a couple of folktales. Together, they offer a piece of local history combined with a fascinating glimpse into the lives and imaginations of young people today.

All proceeds go to Berwick Literary Festival schools programme.
